My first and foremost reason to run for school board is to represent the voices and concerns of the people in my community. Followed closely with encouraging more parent/public involvement and last but certainly not least, to demonstrate to my own children how important their academic achievement is to their future success. I have yet to find in the provided literature how several of the newly implemented or proposed curriculum changes are proven, evidence based ways of helping MN step swiftly and confidently out of the academic hole in which we currently find ourselves. MDE affirms that many have been left behind in the wake of Equity. Something needs to change.

I am running to improve academic achievement, life skills, critical thinking and overall educational experience for the students to graduate independent adults, foster a positive work environment for the teachers and promote an economically lean and healthy administration.

I am running to make public school great again. I will be laser-focused on improving academic achievement as the main priority. There is zero excuse for the abysmal proficiency scores in our district. I will be a community citizen representative: NOT a rubber stamp. I will strongly advocate for parents' rights as they are the primary authority and educator for their children. I believe in strengthening positive parent-teacher collaboration. I believe in financial accountability, making sure every dollar is well spent. I believe in stopping one-sided biased controversial ideological principles from being pushed on children.

1. Keep politics out of the classroom. We need education, not indoctrination. 2. Create open communication between the community and schools. Ideas such as creating a personal YouTube channel to post 5-minute recap videos after each school board meeting, creating an X (formerly Twitter) page to discuss ideas with the community, etc. 3. Represent taxpayers. To be a representative means to RE-Present others. As school board member, I’ll be vigilant to make sure all money is used wisely. This is how our country is meant to be run - in transparency, by servants. I am running to be a servant of the community.
