| I’m running for Minnewaska Area School Board because I care deeply about our schools, our community, and the future of every student in our district.
I was born and raised here, graduated from Minnewaska Area Schools, and am now raising my own children in this district. Professionally, I have spent 16 years in public health serving children and families, including seven years in leadership. That experience has taught me the importance of listening, asking thoughtful questions, looking at the facts, and being willing to have difficult conversations when they are necessary. I believe parents should be informed and involved in their children’s education, students should be held to high expectations, and our schools should provide a safe environment where students can learn, grow, and succeed. I also believe our school board has a responsibility to be transparent, accountable, and thoughtful with taxpayer dollars. I’m not running with a single-issue agenda. I’m running to listen, ask questions, and make responsible decisions that keep students at the center while considering what is best for our district as a whole. Rooted in Our Community. Focused on Every Student. |
