| I ran in 2022 because I saw our schools losing students and good teachers, and a board that wasn’t asking hard enough questions about the money. I was elected to help change that. My fellow board members elected me as Vice Chair, and I’ve pushed for competitive bidding, tighter contract oversight, and a real voice for parents. I’m running again because the work isn’t finished. Our kids deserve an education that prepares them for successful and fulfilling careers. Our teachers deserve a district that fights to keep them. And of course, our taxpayers deserve the financial discipline I’ve used for four decades running a family business. In short, I’m running to prioritize the students, parents, and teachers of Brainerd. |
