| It is so refreshing to answer questions that align with my own Christian beliefs. The Christian education of our children was a fundamental principle that our founding fathers held. Dr. Benjamin Rush, one of the fifty-six signers of our Declaration of Independence, stated that public schools had three purposes: 1) To teach students to love and serve God. 2) To teach students to love and serve their country. 3) To teach students to love and serve their families. Dr. Rush put country before family because he understood that if we ever lost control of our country, it would become the great enemy of our families. We must teach truth in our schools. I am in whole-hearted support of the original support of our education system and vow to support it’s return to Biblical Principles. |
